‘Genius’ is a Latin word used by Romans to denote an inner spirit, holy and pious that watches over us and guides us to our Way whenever we call it.
With the passage of time, its meaning got changed to ‘a person’s natural ability’ to most recently in present days ‘exceptional natural ability of a person’.

What I’m going to do by knowing about the etymology of the word ‘Genius’.
‘Genius’ is someone on whose head once an Apple fell and he discovered the physical laws of nature or someone who saw an Apple no matter another has taken a bite of it and revolutionized the whole tech industry. Or a person who even without the sight of an Apple gave faster-than-light speed to mechanical physics to reach the quantum domain.
What about calling genius to the person who was exiled from a heavenly garden because he ate an Apple?
Not a Genius. Really?
Well, the Apple may or may not be an important fruit for you. You may or may not like to eat an Apple a day to keep the doctor away and it may not have any real connection with the ‘genius mind’ but it’s one of the greatest sources of inspiration, both for body and mind.
And believe, there is something in this Apple that every literate man or woman on the planet Earth was taught ‘A for Apple’ when he or she was a child.
Well, coming to the ‘Genius’ part. The first and last thing that came to the thought is...
"These are god-gifted kids of Nature who never got created twice."

And, in every situation, teeny or gigantic, in spite of great obstacles, won the battle of life, to discover something beyond the egoic mind that removed the shadow of Resistance from their lives.
You will find something common in the lives of all these ‘Genius Minds’.

Once we overcome the Resistance of ‘Little Egoic Selves’ to get in touch with our ‘Authentic Higher Selves’, the inner spirit that navigates our life responds to our calling and this is the birth of a real-life Genius.
A 'genius' is not a person but his ‘ability to transform the lives of people’ that operates from a higher realm to invent, discover, create, innovate and, inspire.
And if you have the ‘ability to transform the life of even a single child on this planet’.
